This villa for rent is conveniently located, just a 4-minute drive from the village of Lumio and a short 5-minute drive from the beautiful sandy beach of Arinella. The beach also offers an excellent restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, with the added charm of candlelit tables on the beach.Upon arrival at Villa Lucia, you will be captivated by its sturdy oak door, intricately carved with the patterns of wheatsheaves and olives. The villa is nestled within its own grove of oak trees and has been recently built to the highest standards, using traditional materials.
As you enter the villa through the covered breakfast terrace, you will find yourself in a welcoming hallway. To the front, there is a large and spacious sitting room, complete with a coffee table, comfortable sofas, satellite TV, and a DVD player. To the left, you will discover a well-equipped kitchen, featuring a fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, and a family dining table and chairs. The kitchen also opens onto the garden at the side of the house, while French windows provide access to the magnificent front terrace. From there, you can enjoy panoramic views of the curving bay and the ancient citadel of Calvi.
Adjacent to the kitchen, there is a generously sized dining area with a table and chairs. Beyond this, you will find the spacious main sitting room, furnished with big, comfortable white sofas and chairs. Both parts of this large room have French windows that open onto the front terrace, which is equipped with a large parasol, table, chairs, a gas BBQ, and comfortable sun loungers.
Three bedrooms are located on the ground floor, two of which feature a double bed and French windows that open onto the garden, offering views of the sea. Another bedroom has twin beds and is situated next to a lovely bathroom, complete with a large spa bath, basin, and separate tiled shower. There is also a separate WC.
An open staircase leads up from the hallway to the master suite, which boasts its own balcony with stunning views of Calvi and the mountains. This suite also includes a large bathroom with a spa bath, basin, and WC. Furthermore, there is a second balcony at the back of the house, providing fantastic views of the mountains and the picturesque ancient village of Lumio, nestled on the hillside.
Within the pleasant grounds of the villa, you will find a 10m x 5m swimming pool, surrounded by an olive grove.
