Description for B&B:

Gite Mont Joly is located in a sunny area just off the main road leading to Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. It is conveniently situated only 800m away from the village center. Our delightful gite is surrounded by woodland on one side and offers breathtaking mountain views on the other three sides. It is the perfect choice for short getaways or longer vacations. We can accommodate up to 15 guests in rooms that cater to 2, 4, or 6-7 individuals. For breakfast, we offer an optional service priced at 7€ per person (children under 5 eat for free). Additionally, we provide an optional packed lunch for 7€ per person.

Our guests have the opportunity to mingle with other vacationers in our spacious dining room and cozy snug area, or they can relax on our sunny patio. The communal kitchen is well-equipped, and we offer complimentary kitchen essentials such as herbs, spices, oil, and cling film. We also provide raclette equipment and barbecues on the patio.

On request, guests can utilize the washing machine and dryer. We have a ski locker in the basement (which can be used as a bike locker during the summer) and ample private parking outside. Baby essentials, including a cot, high chair, play mat, and musical chair, are available upon request. We also have children's toys for our younger guests.

Saint Gervais is a charming, authentic, and welcoming French town with numerous attractions in close proximity. Some of the most notable attractions include the Tramway du Mont Blanc, which departs from the village and reaches an altitude of 2380m. The hot springs at nearby Le Fayet, known as Les Thermes, are a 15-minute walk through the woods from our gite. Additionally, the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area, the 4th largest in France, is only 1.5km away from our location. The village also offers a new swimming pool, ice rink (during winter), and various picturesque walks starting from the village or the nearby nature reserve in Les Contamines.

Description for Gite

You have the opportunity to rent the entire gite all year round, accommodating 15 guests during summer and 22 during winter. During the peak winter holidays (Christmas, New Year, and February/March school holidays), our changeover day is on Saturdays. However, for the rest of the year, you have the flexibility to rent our gite for less than 7 days. Just like our Chambres d'hotes, the price includes all bedding.

Directions

If you are traveling from Geneva by car or motorbike, take the Autoroute Blanche until you reach Saint-Gervais-le Fayet. From there, follow the signs to Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. As you approach the village, you will see a restaurant called Le Four on a hairpin bend. Our building is located right after Le Four.

If you are coming from Megève by car or motorbike, drive through Saint-Gervais and go under the Tramway du Mont Blanc bridge. You will find us 200m ahead on the right-hand side.

If you prefer to travel by train, the nearest station is Le Fayet. If you let us know in advance, we can arrange to pick up small groups from the station.

For those traveling by air, the closest airport is Geneva. We recommend renting a car. However, if that is not possible, there are several companies in the region that provide transfer services, which can be arranged.
