Description for B&B:
This historic manor, established by the de Launcells family after the Norman Conquest, is located in a peaceful and secluded valley just beyond the hill from the ancient Market Town of Crediton, and near the village of Sandford.Combe Lancey is a fully operational farm with sheep and cattle, accessible via its own private roads that wind through its expansive 150-acre meadows. It is conveniently situated just half a mile from Crediton, and the charming village of Sandford, with its lovely old pubs, is just a short walk away. The breathtaking landscapes of Dartmoor National Park are easily reachable, and the historically significant Cathedral City of Exeter is also within close proximity.
The accommodation, featuring exposed beams, is located within the cob and timbered Linhay, an integral part of the Listed 15th Century thatched Farmhouse. From here, guests can enjoy picturesque views of the valley, as well as the meticulously maintained formal gardens and orchard. The two en-suite rooms, along with the separate Breakfast Room, offer complete privacy in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
